Now Hiring - Inside Sales Representative in Portland, IN

Portland Forge produces and markets a wide range steel, alloy, and specialty metal forgings to end use markets such as general industry, aerospace, defense, and oil & gas.

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative. This position is based out of the Portland Indiana facility and reports directly to the Director, Marketing & Sales.

Position Responsibilities:

· Team up with Account Manager for customer coverage and responsibilities.

· Develop customer relationships to help increase spend for selected key accounts.

· Responsible for customer service activities for selected accounts (order entry, shipping, etc.).

· Assist in pricing and quoting activities.

· Coordinate interdepartmental communications regarding customer needs.

· Perform other jobs duties as needed.

Requirements:

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an office setting.

· Results-oriented and dedicated personality with proven creative and critical thinking skills.

· Data presentation abilities, good communicator, and organized.

· Strong analytical skills to resolve difficult problems effectively and implement solutions.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

· Fluent in MS Office Suite.

· Attention to detail.
